UB launches new KP Nuts strip format

United Biscuits has introduced a new display solution for its KP Nuts brand. The new multi-strip range aims to create additional space in store, increase visibility and help drive cross category link sales for retailers.
Available now, the new format comes ready to display in a card of three strips that can be broken up into individual strips of six packs, offering retailers the opportunity to site nuts at various points in-store. The new range is available in £1 price marked packs in Original Salted 80g, Dry Roasted 70g, Jumbo Spicy Chilli 70g and Jumbo Salt & Vinegar 70g variants.
George Johnston, marketing director for Bagged Snacks, comments, “We have made sure that the new KP multi-strip packs can be broken down and sited at several locations in store, as our research has told us that if shoppers see nuts more often in store, they buy them more often. This presents retailers with an opportunity to generate extra impulse sales by positioning the KP Nuts strip near complementary categories, such as alcohol and sandwiches.”
