Luna extends snack bar range for women

Clif Bar & Company-owned brand Luna Bar has announced the latest addition to its female-targeted nutritional snacks range: Luna Rica.

Inspired by the Spanish word ‘rica,’ which means ‘rich and delicious,’ Luna Rica is a ‘breakable’ organic fruit and nut bar with a nut butter filling. According to the brand, the new snack bar is USDA organic, non-GMO and gluten-free.

The bars are available in three different flavours: Salted Caramel Nut, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Coconut Almond.

Ritu Mathur, Luna brand director, says, “We know it’s important to reset from time to time, so we worked to create Luna Rica; an entirely new type of snack bar that is nutritious, decadent and inspires women to take a break to relish victories or celebrate successes.”

The new Luna Rica bars are made from a blend of ingredients, including dates and nuts, designed to make nourishment and nutrition a focal point of the day.

Luna Rica is available at retailers across the US or online (MSRP: $1.49 per bar).
