Ford Gum enters agreement with Impact Confections for line of bubble gum and candy
Ford Gum, a leading US manufacturer of retail confectionery and gift products, has entered into an agreement with Impact Confections and its iconic Warheads brand to produce a line of bubble gum and candy products.
“Warheads is a powerhouse brand in the confections industry, especially in the sour category,” said Steve Greene, senior vice president of Sales & Marketing at Ford Gum. “The brand will allow us to expand our product portfolio into the sour sector while remaining committed to our other specialty products including Big League Chew, Jelly Belly sugar free gum, Carousel gumball machines, and a line of Smarties bubble gum and candy.”
“We’re excited to partner with Ford Gum and bring the Warheads experience to other candy forms. Bringing the Sour face to bubble gum and squeeze candy will excite the Warheads fanatics,” said Paul Henderson, CMO of Impact Confections.
This summer, Ford Gum will launch a five-ball tube of gumnballs in classic Warheads’s sour flavours: Blue Raspberry, Lemon, Green Apple, Watermelon and Orange. The item will be packed in 12 count trays with 12 trays per case. Ford Gum will also launch a Sour Watermelon Squeeze Candy in a 6/12 count case. The gumballs will have an SRP of $0.49 and the Squeeze Candy will have an SRP of $1.49. Both products will be made in the United States.
