Second KitKat Duos bar to launch in the US
KitKat is introducing its second Duos bar to the US with the debut of KitKat Duos Mocha + Chocolate. This launch follows the success of the initial Duos – KitKat Duos Mint + Dark Chocolate in 2019.
This new dynamic flavor combination wraps the classic KitKat wafers with a rich mocha flavored creme on the top and “silky sweet” chocolate on the bottom. KitKat Duos Mocha + Chocolate will be a permanent addition to the brand’s portfolio coming in November.
“The expanding Duos line is special because we can explore both flavour innovation and flavour pairings,” said Amy Minderman, senior manager at KitKat. “Consumers clamour for the latest and greatest from the KitKat brand and we believe our newest star will not disappoint; with real coffee bits wrapped in a mocha flavoured creme surrounding the undeniable KitKat wafer, what’s not to love.”
Flavour innovation reportedly remains a top priority for the brand as fans continue to show their love and desire for new possibilities. Throughout the years, the KitKat brand has released highly anticipated, limited edition flavors outside the Duos line, including Witch’s Brew (Marshmallow), Birthday Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Raspberry Crème, Apple Pie and Lemon Crisp.
KitKat Duos Mocha+ Chocolate will be available at US stores nationwide beginning in November 2020 in both standard size (1.5oz) and king size (3oz) bars. (standard SRP $1.11, king SRP $1.66).
