Smooth, gooey caramel is one of the UK’s favourites flavours, and now chocolate brand NOMO has launched its first ever vegan and free from Caramel Filled Choc Bar.
The Caramel Choc Bar will join the wider NOMO product range. Made with a non-dairy alternative to milk chocolate with a vegan caramel-flavoured centre, it is completely vegan and free from dairy, gluten, egg and nuts. It is made from sustainably sourced, quality ingredients, ensuring that all chocolate lovers can enjoy a moment of indulgence.
Kinnerton has been synonymous with making chocolate products that are safe for people with allergies since 1999. Since its launch in 2019, NOMO has become loved by customers and is now the number one free-from brand in the UK.
Emma Perrett, senior innovation and brand manager of Kinnerton Confectionery said: “One of our aims at NOMO is to develop mainstream flavours that we know customers will love regardless of whether they are vegan or have a food allergy. We know caramel is a flavour that many vegan and free from consumers have been missing out on, so we are delighted that the Caramel Choc Bar will be available in Sainsbury’s from the end of September.”
Alison Deane, buyer – Free From at Sainsbury’s said: “We are thrilled to be the first to market with the Caramel Choc Bar, further adding to our vegan and free from product range and complementing our current range of NOMO products. We are always looking for new, exciting products which we feel consumers will love and we think the NOMO Caramel Choc Bar will do just that”.
Sainsbury’s will be first to launch the Caramel Choc Bar from the 28th September, followed by Tesco, Waitrose and NOMO’s online store in mid-October.
