WW launches array of new products to tie in with healthy eating
WW, Weight Watchers reimagined, has brought four new products to market this month.
Starting with WW Hazelnut Cocoa Spread, this palm oil free offering is available now on the WW online shop. This product marks WW’s first foray into spreads in recent years. With a RRP of £3.29, it comes in 200g jars.
A range of protein powders have also been introduced on WW’s website. WW Protein Booster Cacao and WW Protein Booster Red Fruits are made from vegetable protein, including hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax and sunflower seeds. They are vegan and contain no artificial colourings, flavourings or added sugar*. The powders are versatile enough to be used in many ways, for example boosting breakfasts by simply stirring through porridge, topping off natural yoghurt or mixing into smoothies, as well as baking, and they bolster WW’s existing range of protein products. Packets of 210g (Red Fruits) and 240g (Cacao) each have an RRP of £9.95.
Finally WW Apple & Cinnamon Wraps will be available on WW’s online shop at the beginning of February. These wraps build on the success of WW’s existing range of wraps, available both online and in major supermarkets. With a RRP of £1.50, these sweet wraps, which contain no artificial preservatives or colourings, are perfect for breakfast at home or on the go.
Brenda McNulty, commercial director at WW, commented: “This is an important time of year for WW. We want to make it as easy as possible for our members and consumers to stay on track with their healthy eating goals, and we hope these products will help them to remain inspired whilst getting creative in the kitchen. The WW Hazelnut Cocoa Spread has already been a big hit in Germany so we’re particularly excited to see how the UK responds to this amongst all of the new products.”
