Spooky season hits early with Ferrero’s Days of Halloween Calendar

This year’s plans for the ‘spooky season’ in the US appear more forward focused than ever, as Ferrero unveils its fifth annual Ferrero 31 Days of Halloween Countdown Calendar, designed to offer key support for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, writes Neill Barston.

In America, the Halloween season has recorded reported annual sales of $3.6 billion, and the confectionery segment’s seasonal activity around October festivities has continued to ramp-up, as consumers clamour for ever-more inventive products.

For its part, from 1 October, Ferrero is encouraging families to enter into the spirit of the season with its traditional calendar featuring its core brands including Butterfinger, CRUNCH, Baby Ruth, 100Grand, Kinder Bueno, Kinder Joy, Kinder Chocolate, Tic Tac, Nutella & GO! Keebler, Mother’s Cookies and Fannie May.

As part of this, on the first three Tuesdays of September (September 3rd, September 10th and September 17th), @FerreroNACorp and @cmnhospitals will be dropping limited quantities of this exclusive calendar on Instagram. Once a drop is live, fans can head to FerreroHalloween.com and make a donation of $31 or more to receive a calendar, while supplies last. Follow @FerreroNACorp on Instagram to watch out for each drop.

To help young patients and caregivers celebrate Halloween, the company will be providing confections and cookies to select member hospitals of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals near the company’s offices and plants, in addition to a monetary donation.
