Healthy food and drink awards

Beyond Dark Moments of Pleasure, a chocolate brand launched four years ago, won Gold at the Healthy Food and Drinks awards. The awards are organised by Women’s Health and Health & Fitness magazines, and winners are selected based on reader responses.

Kevin Nester, director and founder of Beyond Dark says: “This prestigious award comes at a time when our chocolate is just beginning to gain widespread recognition. Our customers report that they choose it because of the very high levels of anti-oxidants and relatively low calorie count. To be awarded Gold for its health credentials shows that Beyond Dark is valued for the very reasons that we developed it. We recognised that there was a gap in the market for what we term as a ‘health positive indulgence’ and it seems that the public agrees with us.”

Beyond Dark Moments of Pleasure comes in bags of 35g and are available from Sainsbury’s, Holland and Barrett and other independent retailers throughout Europe.
