Store makeover competition

For a second year, Ferrero is offering the UK’s convenience retailers the chance to win a gold-standard store makeover. The ramped-up campaign will run for six months, kicking off around Diwali with over 40 depots. Culminating in a £3,000 spring store makeover, the campaign aims to reinforce the importance of the all-year round gifting occasion.
Levi Boorer, customer development director, Ferrero, says, “There is a growing trend for premium treating and sharing throughout the year, which represents a huge sales potential for retailers that we hope to facilitate by launching a campaign that links together the key trading occasions of Diwali, Christmas and Spring.”
The top entries will be credited and showcased on the Ferrero trade website as part of a ‘Golden Gallery’ to assist with peer-to-peer retailer development. The 20 runner up winners will also be acknowledged and will receive a free 96 piece Ferrero Rocher Cone, set to drive talkability in-store and attention to the confectionery aisle.
Retailers are invited to come along to any of the selected locations listed on the Ferrero trade website to sign up to the competition and get involved. In addition, a number of the depots will be partaking in sampling activity to kick-start the campaign.
Retailers can register their interest in the competition in participating depots. They will then receive a full Ferrero Christmas POS kit that they will need to install in their store with the assistance of their sales rep.
