Low calorie iced desserts

Weight Watchers is extending its range of iced desserts with the introduction of two new lines – Greek Style Frozen Yogurt with Blueberries and Salted Caramel Sundaes – both manufactured under license by frozen dessert and ice cream specialist, Icefresh Foods Ltd.

At only 100 calories, 3.1g of fat and a ProPoints value of three per 100ml pot, Weight Watchers Greek Style Frozen Yogurt with Blueberries boasts 30 per cent less fat than a standard Greek style frozen yogurt, while the indulgent Salted Caramel Sundaes, at 186 calories for a 180ml tub, also carries 30 per cent less fat, making them both an appealing dessert option to those looking for a healthier sweet treat.

Scott Wilson, brand manager at Icefresh, says: “Weight Watchers Iced Desserts offer consumers a low-fat take on their favourite desserts. Weight Watchers Greek style yogurts have been a big hit with customers and we are sure the new frozen yogurt will become a freezer favourite too.

“Our Toffee & Honeycomb Sundaes have long been one of our best selling products, so we’re very excited to be launching the new Salted Caramel Sundaes and expect them to be a popular addition to the range.”
