The Belgian launches new website

Chocolate company The Belgian Chocolate Group has launched a new consumer-focused website for its brand The Belgian.

The aim of the new website is to interact with the end-consumer and to offer more service than the previous website. “It was about time for The Belgian to develop a customer focused website to serve as a window of the company. The customer deserves to know our story through easy online access to interesting facts and figures,” explains marketeer for The Belgian Chocolate Group Eva Bernaert.

Besides the company and product information in ‘About us’ and ‘The Belgian Products’, it integrated a web page about ‘Belgian cities’ which tells a few bits and bobs about Belgium. A calendar with ‘Your Chocolate Enjoying Moments’ shows the chocolate festive days around the world. The page ‘Global Presence’ informs you of the 80 countries where you can find the brand. The colourful The Belgian ribbon, which characterizes the brand, is the common theme throughout the entire website design.

The website launch is supported by a Facebook contest. Every month there will be a draw from the newly added Facebook fans. Along with the new website launch, The Belgian makes its introduction on Twitter.
