The York, UK-based ice cream manufacturer behind the frozen yogurt brand Yoryog has added four new sizes to the range that launched earlier this year.

Yorvale created Yoryog specifically to appeal to younger, health conscious consumers and launched four flavours in 500ml and 5l scooping tubs in May. Due to unprecedented demand, including a request from the new First Direct Arena in Leeds, Yoryog has added four 120ml pots to its range.

Yoryog is produced from a yogurt culture that is made on the Vale of York farm that is then mixed with a selection of 100% natural ingredients and flavours to make deliciously smooth and creamy frozen yogurts that contain no more than 3.3% fat.
The four flavours in 120ml tubs are; Ravishing Raspberry, Heavenly Honey, Marvellous Mango and Lime and Blissful Blueberry.

Yoryog’s development director Lesley Buxton said; “Yoryog is made from milk from our family farm and all natural ingredients to create an anytime treat that is low in fat but high in taste. We had always planned to extend the range into single serve tubs at some stage, but we didn’t anticipate that we would do it so soon after the original launch! Naturally, we’re highly delighted that our 120ml pots of healthy frozen yogurts will be on sale alongside Yorvale real dairy ice cream at the First Direct Arena.”

The frozen yogurt market is worth £162m and is the fastest growing category in the ice cream market with a 17% share. Consumer demand for frozen yogurt has increased ten-fold in only six years.

In addition to Yoryog, Yorvale produces an extensive range of dairy ice cream and sorbets that are available nationwide via selected wholesalers and from farm shops, independent retailers, Waitrose, Booths, Asda, Tesco and Morrisons throughout Yorkshire.
