Antioxidant and omega-3 mix packs arrive
Orchard Valley Harvest has added two mixes to its portfolio of on-the-go snacks – omega-3 Mix and Antioxidant Mix.
“The omega-3 Mix and Antioxidant Mix are a great way to snack smarter and incorporate more ALA and vitamin E into your diet,” said Howard Brandeisky, senior vice president of global marketing and customer solutions at John B. Sanfilippo & Son, the manufacturer and distributor of Orchard Valley Harvest products.
The eight, one-ounce inner pouches, which are non-GMO project verified and free from artificial ingredients, are available at select retailers.
For those consumers looking to add more antioxidant-rich foods to their diet, the Antioxidant Mix is said to offer a source of vitamin E with a blend of roasted almonds, dried sweetened cranberries, blueberries, roasted cashews and pepitas.
For those looking to add more omega-3 to their diet, the omega-3 Mix provides a source of Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) omega-3 with 55% of the 1.6g Daily Value of ALA in a blend of walnuts, dried sweetened cranberries, almonds and pistachios.
