Wrigley unveils Berry Starburst variant

Confectionery manufacturer Wrigley has added a Very Berry variant to join its Starburst candy portfolio.

Available in Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry and Cranberry, Starburst Very Berry is sold in single (45g), hanging bag (150g) and sharing pouch (192g) formats, including price marked pack options.

Berry flavours have a proven track record of driving growth into the sugar confectionery category, according to Nielsen data, with the launch of Starburst Very Berry projected to drive nearly £4 million in retail sales as Wrigley looks to drive category growth.

Also available with a price flash on pack, retailers will be able to offer a £1 RRP PMP hanging bag and 49p RRP PMP single pack format.
