Tangerine releases Halloween line-up

UK-based Tangerine Confectionery has released its product line-up for Halloween, which includes the return of the Sweet Champions Halloween Assorted Bag.

The 200g bag (MRRSP £1) features a mixture of mini Whams (strawberry, sour apple & original raspberry flavours), Fruit Salad Lollies and Black Jack Lollies.

Sold in Halloween themed packaging, the 200g bag is available in UK convenience stores and selected supermarkets, including Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s.

The Halloween offering also includes the Sweet Champions 750g Sharing Carton, in a new format for 2017, featuring brands such as Wham, Fruit Salad, Refresher and Dip Dab.

Russell Tanner, marketing and category director at Tangerine Confectionery, says, “Halloween has become the third biggest retail event behind Christmas and Easter – Halloween sugar confectionery is worth £6.4 million and in the week of Halloween, it accounts for 14% of total sugar sales (just under £1m).
