Migros sells Limmatdruck/Zeiler

Swiss retailer Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund (MGB) has sold Limmatdruck/Zeiler – one of Europe’s leading premium confectionery packaging producers and the biggest folding box manufacturer in Switzerland, to rlc packaging group.
Rlc will acquire a 100% holding in the two Limmatdruck/Zeiler sites in Spreitenbach near Zürich and Köniz near Bern. The move increases the workforce of Rlc to around 1,200 across plants in Hanover, Berlin and Aachen in Germany, the two new sites in Switzerland, and Poznań in Poland.

The sale of Limmatdruck/Zeiler by MGB is part of the retailer’s strategy to focus more closely on its core expertise.
