Quality Street launches new limited edition bar

Quality Street will extend its range with My Purple Bar, a new limited edition bar combines four ‘The Purple Ones’ with smooth milk chocolate, creamy caramel centre and whole hazelnut. The bar will have an RRP of 65p. Over the last year the total brand value has risen by 14% to be worth £98m.
Singles confectionery accounts for 52% of all confectionery sales. This introduction to the singles market will be backed by a £1m media investment, including a six sheet campaign, strategically placed outside C-Stores, which have proven to boost sales by 25%.
Graham Walker, Nestlé Trade communications manager says, “With the launch of My Purple Bar, Nestlé Confectionery is giving retailers the chance to benefit from a launch scoring extremely highly when tested with consumers.”
