New raisin brand Gorilla Boogers sponsors Gorilla Run

New raisin brand Gorilla Boogers has partnered with The Gorilla Organization to sponsor the annual Great Gorilla Run.

Gorilla Boogers £40,000 sponsorship contributes towards grass-roots projects such as continued training for over 15,000 farmers in organic farming, reducing their reliance on the gorilla habitat. The run, which is opened by Bill Oddie, sees hundreds of people running and walking the 7km Central London route dressed as gorillas.

Brand creator Jo Beach explains, “When I developed Gorilla Boogers, I knew I wanted to find a way of working with The Gorilla Organization. On a personal level, sponsoring the Great Gorilla Run and therefore helping the cause really works for me as I care very much for the work they do.”

Gorilla Boogers are raisins packed in 35g easy grab-bags.  They are available from Amazon.co.uk with an SRP of 55p and have been listed with distributors 3663 and Tree of Life. The range will soon be extended with more raisin-based products and will include cereal bars, cookies, yogurt-covered and chocolate-coated raisins as well as boxed cereals.
