UK exporters build on success at Anuga

The strong export performance in the first half of 2011 has been built upon by the 73 companies in the UK pavilions at Anuga this week.
UK export performance of food and non-alcoholic drink in the first half of 2011 has shown an impressive growth of £5.8bn.
Organised by PS8, the UK pavilion has offered a mix of experience and quality products. Traditional products such as shortbread, will feature alongside new exciting products, such as premium snacks from New York Delhi and Salty Dog Brands. Regulars such as Artisan Biscuits, Ramsden International and Walkers Shortbread have once again helped attract high quality visitors to the UK pavilion.
PS8’s Sandra Sullivan says, “The strong UK showing reconfirms UK food and drink as one of the strongest export categories from the UK. It is great to see such an impressive UK showing and for so many new companies to see the significant business Anuga brings.”
