Thorntons debuts Christmas TV advert

Thorntons is to debut its Christmas advert for UK consumers this evening (24 November).

The advert, which will feature the slogan ‘Pass the Love on’, was developed with SSAFA and will help to raise awareness of the charity which works with British service men and women, veterans and their families.

It is anticipated that the advert will reach over 16 million people and two per cent of all sales from the Thorntons Continental boxed product range, purchased in Thorntons owned stores in Britain and on the Thorntons website, will be paid in support of SSAFA.

Ian Tweedale, marketing director of Thorntons, says, “We are excited to launch our Christmas ad, which not only brings to life the warm festive spirit of giving but showcases the love, passion and care that goes into every Thorntons product.

“As part of our Christmas campaign we are delighted to be supporting SSAFA, through raising awareness in our advert.”
