Mrs Crimble’s appoints new sales director

Mrs Crimble’s, the British bakery brand, has appointed a new sales director as part of a strategic plan to manage the company’s growth.

Symon Aylen joins Mrs Crimble’s from Fabulous Bakin Boys, where he was business unit manager. He has also worked for a number of well-known food brands. Aylen’s appointment is complemented by Gareth Toms taking on the responsibility for export sales as well as several new jobs for graduates. 



Free From products are one of the few growth areas in food, however, Mrs Crimble’s, which makes gluten free cakes, macaroons and other treats, has been outperforming even that market.



Jeremy Woods, Mrs Crimble’s head honcho, says, “Despite the economic conditions, 2011 has been a particularly strong year for us and, on top of that, we have just finished giving Mrs Crimble’s a total makeover.”
