Chewits launches new branding

Confectionery company Cloetta UK has relaunched one of its most-loved brands, Chewits, with a brand new design across all marketing channels.

At the forefront of the launch is Chewits’ revamped brand ambassador, Chewie the dinosaur. Chewie ‘the Chewitsaurus’ first appeared in 1976 as part of a series of ‘Monster Muncher’ adverts, one of which was voted most iconic in Chewits’ 50th anniversary year in 2015.

To celebrate the launch, a range of social media giveaways will be taking place across Chewits’ channels this week.

The newly designed product packs are in store now and featured across all existing ranges, which include:

  • Chewits Chews
  • Chewits Xtreme
  • Chewits Juicy Bites
  • Chewits Laces & Wands

New products will join the existing range later this year.

Cloetta UK’s Sarah McDermott comments on the brand re-design: “We are excited to be relaunching Chewits with a new look and upcoming products that are set to explore bold new flavour combinations and formats. Our iconic Chewits Chews are still the same great tasting flavour and low in calories at only 11.3 Kcals per chew.”
