UK-based B-Corp snack brand Popcorn Kitchen has announced a new partnership with the Farm Retail Association (FRA), an organisation representing farm shops and farmers’ markets across the UK. The partnership aims to support independent food retail and highlight shared values around food quality, sustainability, and local sourcing.

The announcement comes as the FRA continues its #morethanfood campaign, which launched in July 2025. The initiative promotes real food made with quality ingredients, advocates for the local food economy, and raises awareness around alternatives to ultra-processed foods.

Popcorn Kitchen produces small-batch, hand-popped popcorn and positions its products within the “slow food” movement—characterised by transparent sourcing, artisanal production methods, and sustainability practices. The company sees alignment between its brand values and those promoted by the Farm Retail Association.

“Our hand-popped approach and focus on quality ingredients are consistent with the values the Farm Retail Association champions,” said Louise Monk, a spokesperson for Popcorn Kitchen. “We look forward to building stronger ties with farm shops across the UK that prioritise differentiated, small-scale food production.”
