Marmite nuts
Zetar, the confectionery and snack foods group, has announced that its natural snacks division, trading as Humdinger, has entered into a licensing agreement with Unilever UK to manufacture and sell Marmite nuts with effect from 1st October 2012.
Ian Blackburn, CEO comments, “We are delighted to have signed a licensing agreement with Unilever to manufacture and sell Marmite nuts. This is directly in line with our strategy to focus on growing our range of higher margin branded products. We know that Marmite is a very strong, popular brand and we are confident of its success. It is an excellent addition to our growing portfolio of branded products which we will continue to strengthen during 2012 and beyond.”
