A Fairtrade first

Dubble, the Fairtrade chocolate bar from Divine Chocolate, is doubling its appeal by introducing a delicious new chunky white chocolate bar with a crispy crunch, and delivering a 2p donation to Comic Relief with every bar. The Dubble bars are available to buy nationwide and online.

Prepare for Dubble Trouble as two famous double acts – Ant and Dec, and The Beano’s Dennis the Menace and Gnasher – celebrate the re-launch of Dubble in a ‘Choc Idol’ cartoon special! The new milk Dubble bars will be covermounted on the October issue of the iconic BeanoMax (on sale from 3-30 October 2012) featuring the exclusive cartoon.

Ant & Dec say, “There’s a new Dubble act on the block –and we’re hoping there’s plenty of room for both of us! Not only is the new Dubble chocolate bar helping Comic Relief to tackle poverty and support Fairtrade, its delicious too – dubbly good.

Once again Dubble can boast a Fairtrade first – originally the first Fairtrade chocolate bar to be created especially for kids, and now the first Fairtrade product to be a year-round fundraiser for Comic Relief. Dubble is already unique in being both Fairtrade Certified and co-owned by cocoa farmers (so the farmers get a fairer deal and share the company profits), and now will be helping Comic Relief to tackle poverty around the world!

Mike Stirling, editor-in-chief of The Beano & BeanoMax says, “It was an easy decision to double up with Dubble. Like Dennis & Gnasher it’s choc-a-block with cheek and doesn’t play by the rules – with some incredible results! In fact, if Dennis & Gnasher were a chocolate double act, this would be it.”

Now in funky new packaging, with the same natural ingredients (only cocoa butter, no vegetable fat substitutes) the chunky milk and white chocolate bars mean there’s now double the reason to grab a Dubble for your favourite snack and two tasty ways to change the world chunk by chunk!
