Softer caramels launch

Cadbury is set to introduce a new addition the Cadbury Eclairs brand this spring in the form of Cadbury Eclairs Velvets, a softer variant of the candy. The soft caramels with a milk chocolate centre are available in bags ideal for sharing.
The new caramels are aimed at new and younger consumers, and the launch will be supported by a £2 million UK marketing investment.
Kaitlin Williams, Candy Brand Manager at Mondelēz International, said: “We saw a fantastic opportunity to bring something special to the indulgent candy category, with a new softer eat enrobed in delicious Cadbury milk chocolate to attract new consumers to the format and inspiring new occasions for individual snacking, particularly within the afternoon dip.”
