TV ad for softer caramels
Cadbury is launching a television advert to promote its Cadbury Eclairs Velvets, a softer version of their classic Eclairs caramels. The campaign is part of a £2 million UK marketing investment in 2014, and will also include cinema, video on demand, digital, sampling and in-store activity.
Kaitlin Williams, candy brand manager at Mondelēz International, says, “We’ve already seen some great success with Cadbury Eclairs Velvets… and the product is helping to attract new consumers to the format and inspire new occasions for individual snacking.
“Our new TV ad & supporting campaign aims to educate consumers on the new soft Eclair, and we would encourage retailers to stock up in anticipation of increased awareness throughout the campaign.”
Cadbury Eclairs Velvets are available in 151g packs, priced at £1.99.
