Shortbread at the Ryder Cup
Walkers Shortbread is delighted to announce the presence of its traditional shortbread at the 2014 Ryder Cup. A range of the brand’s most popular products will be available during the event, which will take place from 26-28 September, at the various public catering bars. Hosted at the famed Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire, Scotland; this iconic Scottish favourite will be showcased at the famous home of the Ryder Cup.
Walkers Shortbread will also demonstrate its unprecedented support for the tournament by supplying shortbread for the Land of Food and Drink Showcase, which is part of the Scotland Welcomes for the World Pavilion in the tented village; showcasing the best Scottish produce to the 250,000-strong audience and enhancing Scotland’s reputation as a Land of Food and Drink.

Earlier this year, Walkers Shortbread announced the addition of the Gleneagles Hotel Assorted Shortbread carton in honour of the Ryder Cup taking place in its home country of Scotland, the first time since 1973.
