Andy Riddle, branded sales director, KP Snacks comments: “As consumer confidence and spending increases year-on-year at Christmas time, this year we recognise that there is a huge opportunity for retailers to drive their sales and in turn the overall category. This year we’re unveiling our strongest ever Christmas range that really meets both retailers’ and consumers’ needs across all segments and flavour variants. We have brand new products and tried and tested favourites, which means we can now genuinely offer something to appeal to everyone.
“Market research shows that planning early is key to a successful Christmas sales period for customers. Offering festive lines earlier can generate consumption and drive a need for repeat purchase later on. Retailers can make the most of this opportunity by making good ranging decisions and ensuring maximum visibility in-store. Frequent promotional activity is also key, so shoppers always have ‘news’ in store.”
