UK brand heads to Italy

AMC Foods, the producer of Kent Crisps and Kentish Oils, has won a trip to Milan between the 5-7 May in the UK Trade and Investment Taste of the South East food & drink competition.

The UKTI works with UK based businesses to ensure their success in international markets through exports.

AMC Foods will visit Milan, along with 12 other South East producers, to meet the British Chamber of Commerce for Italy as well as attending the Milan Expo and the Tutto Food Exhibition. This will provide an excellent opportunity for the brands to gain exposure to a worldwide audience and provides the opportunity to network with high profile guests and decision makers.

AMC Foods commercial director Laura Audsley says: “Following on from the successful relaunch of Kent Crisps six months ago, to be chosen for this fantastic opportunity to showcase our products to the European and International market is fantastic and testament to their quality and flavour.

“The new packaging, incorporating an updated logo with each flavour depicting a stunning image has been a major player in the UKTI recognising that our brand is strong and one that is able to be carried into the European and International market.”

Kent Crisps and Kentish Oils are available in outlets across the south east including delicatessens, cafes, coffee shops, pubs, farm shops, independent supermarkets, Waitrose stores and tourist attractions. They supply direct to customers as well as using their carefully selected distributors. The crisps are also available on P&O Ferries out of Dover and Hull as well as on British Airways short and medium haul flights from Heathrow.
