Sweet tester hired

British sweet manufacturer Swizzles has revealed its official sweet taster after a nationwide search, which attracted thousands of entries.

Michelle Eland, 40, beat over 2,500 sweet fans from across the UK to be crowned the official sweet taster.

She will now become part of the new product development team, responsible for taste testing new sweets and products before they hit shelves, as well as helping to develop new product ideas and packaging.

Sarah-Louise Heslop, marketing manager at Swizzles, says, “We’re looking forward to working with her over the next year to product some exciting new sweet treats.”
