Mentos Shakies in multipack launch

Following a successful roll out of singles packs, Mentos Shakies has introduced a new multipack containing four rolls.

Made with natural colours and flavours, each pack contains Strawberry Milk, Banana Milk and Peach Milk flavoured Mentos.

With Mentos experiencing growth of 15.1% in recent years, and now the number four major mint brand, brand manager Claire Powley says, “This new launch is part of a wider strategy to add breadth to our high performing Mentos candy range, and provide shoppers with a unique and innovative product.

“Our singles packs which launched earlier in the year have proved a hit and their differentiation from other products is already bringing new consumers into the category. With shoppers increasingly curious and experimental in the confectionery aisle, the introduction of the new multipack format, will allow consumers to trial the Shakie flavours and further boost sales of Mentos.”

With research showing that almost a third of confectionery purchases are being made on impulse and influenced in store, grabbing the attention of shoppers with highly visible display units is crucial, Mentos explains.
