Divine Chocolate reveals tasting set

Fairtrade and farmer-owned chocolate company, Divine Chocolate, is launching a tasting set to tap into the growing market for sharing and gifting products.
Its biggest innovation in three years, the Tasting Set includes 12 individually wrapped chocolate bars in six flavours. Presented in a book format, the set opens to reveal flavour notes on each bar and a chocolate tasting guide with flavour wheel.
The Tasting Set also includes Divine’s story and farmer ownership, featuring two of the cocoa farmer members of Kuapa Kokoo, the cocoa growers co-operative in Ghana who co-own 44% of the Divine company.
Divine Chocolate says the set has been developed in response to the growing informal sharing chocolate market in the UK which the brand identifies as a key area of growth. It also seeks to introduce premium chocolate consumers to the Divine brand, encouraging shoppers to enjoy a variety of favourite flavours and trade up to a premium and ethical product, while offering existing customers a format with additional flavour choice.
Charlotte Green, marketing director at Divine Chocolate, says, “We know that chocolate purchases are driven by social occasions, particularly in the run up to Christmas, so are delighted to offer a premium product that works just as well for a gift as for a casual evening with friends.
“We’re confident new and existing Divine fans will love the variety and taste the Chocolate Tasting Kit offers, as well as the opportunity to learn more about the Ghanaian farmers at the heart of the brand.”
