Chocolate show set to impress

Salon du Chocolat presents its line up of features for the 2015 London edition of The Chocolate Show, taking place at Olympias National Hall, 16-18 October.

Exhibitors are set to include Rococo, Paul a Young, Hotel Chocolat, Divine, Marou, Willie’s Cacao at the flagship chocolate event.

The event will be the first show to make chocolate from the bean live, and visitors will have the opportunity to make their own bars of chocolate.

As part of the shows dedication to raising awareness of fine chocolate, a bean to bar area will be introduced, showcasing artisan makers exhibiting and selling chocolate made straight from the bean.

As well as this, bean to bar champions Coca Runners will be bringing artisans with them from across the globe, giving access to many brands previously unavailable in the UK.

Direct from the west end, the award winning musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will also host a children’s area with workshops and events including design your own chocolate bar.

There will be a healthy chocolate area that will explore the latest trend for chocolate, explaining how chocolate can fit into a balanced diet.

Live demonstrations of patisserie and chocolate recipes will also take place featuring celebrity chefs, including GBBO winner Ed Kimber.
