Countdown to Christmas

With confectionery companies unveiling their Halloween and Christmas ranges, it seems the countdown to the festive season is on. While Burton’s Biscuit Company and Swizzels have announced the launch of their Halloween products, Buttermilk is one step ahead by revealing its Christmas line-up.

But hold on, Christmas is still 143 days away and I haven’t jetted off on my summer holiday yet. Last week, we sent the July/August issue of Confectionery Production to press. Click here to access the issue. While it’s quiet in the office at the moment, later this week I’ll be attending Ferrero’s annual trade media event in London. It sounds like it will be a busy day with presentations by senior representatives within the business.
