Bonds of London refreshes product packaging

UK confectionery producer Bonds of London is refreshing the packaging for its 3-for-£1 product range.

The range, which offers eight new flavours including Milk Bottles, Gummy Mushrooms and Peach Rings, replaces the confectioner’s £0.39 line. The refreshed packaging comprises an enlarged window to entice customers and improve shelf presence, according to the company, adding that it will also allow the retailer to sell individual bags at a price point suitable for them ranging from £0.39-0.42.

Innovative Bites founder and owner Vishal Madhu, said, “After close consultation with our existing customer base, we decided it was time to implement change and refresh the Bonds of London product range. We’re confident the reinvigorated packaging style and innovative new flavours will hold big appeal to customers, both old and new.”

Using natural flavours and colours for the sweets, the new packaging features nutrition information in an easy to read format, as well as portion controlled statements on the reverse to allow parents to monitor their children’s eating. Vegetarians will also be able to identify product suitability thanks to some lines within the range being approved by the Vegetarian Society.
