Yowie boosts listings across the US

The Yowie Group has revealed the expanded availability of its popular Yowie chocolates that are paired with child-friendly wild animal figurines at retail outlets across the US.

Yowie chocolates will be available for purchase by the end of May at 7-Eleven stores and CVS Health retail outlets in 50 states.

The 7-Eleven and CVS stores join national retailers like Circle K, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and grocery chains such as Albertsons, Meijer, and Safeway, in carrying the chocolates that have an important message for kids – please save the natural world.

Each one-ounce Yowie chocolate, created in the shape of various characters and wrapped in foil, contain limited-edition collectible animal figurines, called Yowie, and a leaflet that profiles the animal, its habitat, food sources and threats to the animal and its environment.

With a focus on conservation, each animal is color coded to explain whether it is critically endangered, endangered, vulnerable, near threatened or not threatened.

Cove Overley, global chief marketing officer at Yowie, says, “We are so happy to have partners at 7-11 and CVS that understand our mission and the importance of encouraging families and kids to become citizens of the natural world.

“With more than 10,000 new locations shared between these stores, it will be even easier for our fans to complete entire Yowie collections of the endangered species of the world.”

The current Yowie series includes 18 wildlife animals and six Yowie characters.
