Introducing Kocoatrait, India’s sustainable chocolate brand

Kocoatrait has launched in India, and claims to be the country’s first and only sustainable and responsible bean-to-bar chocolate brand.

The brand uses some more unusual flavours to complement the base chocolate, which is made from organic Indian cocoa beans. Flavours include lemongrass, Masala Chai, coconut milk & cinnamon, cardamom and candied pineapple & 5 pepper varieties. The range was conceptualised by Certified chocolate Taster, L Nitin Chordia.

The brand does its bit to help the planet, as all its packaging is made from reclaimed cotton and cocoa husks. The packaging designs are created at V-Excel Educational Trust, who support and foster inclusion and independence in individuals with special needs.
