Sour jelly sweets

UK-based Barnack Confectionery is launching an online marketing campaign to support the launch of a new sour version of its Jellyatrics jelly sweets.
The 180g bags contain Bill Bird (lemon), Benny Dorm (blackcurrant), Pearl Stitch (lime), Frau Zimmer (orange) and Mister Miser (strawberry), all with a sour twist that sets them apart from the originals.
The Jellyatrics have their own website and social media platforms, allowing consumers to fully engage with their favourite OAP character. A series of merchandise will follow later this year, celebrating each of the five colourful characters.
Launching the new sours range, Barnack’s Trevor Sharpe, says, “A sense of humour is essential whatever your age. Our sweets are all about having fun and we hope they will appeal to all ages.”
Jellyatrics are also doing their part for charity, and bags can be found in charity sweet boxes throughout the country, as part of Barnack Confectionery’s cause related marketing programme.
