Soreen and WHSmith collaborate for distribution deal

Soreen has joined forces with WHSmith Travel to launch a distribution partnership across the UK.

Its Malt Loaf bar and Pre-buttered Snack Pack will be listed in 71 WHSmith Travel stores from this month. The snack products will be available in stores near airports, train stations and hospitals, with key locations in Manchester Airport, London Heathrow, London’s Euston and King’s Cross train stations.

The Malt Loaf bar and Pre-buttered Snack Pack products contain 124 calories and 150 calories respectively and will both retail at £1.

Bethan Brown, marketing director at Soreen, says, “The new distribution through WHSmith Travel stores up and down the country is a great way to reach today’s health conscious consumers, who want quick, healthier alternatives on the go, without compromising on taste.

“We’re confident that the new listings are in step with where consumers are looking for healthier snacks, and will have a positive impact on sales amongst both new and existing customers.”
