Dairy Milk, Walkers Nonsuch, Demarquette Fine Chocolates and Haribo have all launched Jubilee products, and Cadbury is offering consumers the chance to win Olympic tickets through an on-pack promotion.
A report from Mintel states that European confectionery sales have been stagnant over the past four years (2008-2011). The huge upcoming events in the UK are the perfect opportunity to boost consumer spend.
Limited edition products help attract customers and maintain their loyalty to the brand.
