A Twix move into cakes

Mars has teamed up with McVitie’s Cake Company for the launch of Twix Caramel Slices to combine the best of the chocolate and cake slice world.

Twix Caramel Slices will be priced at £1.49 for a pack of six and are made of a shortcake base with a layer of caramel topped with milk chocolate. Mike Benton, Mcvitie’s Cake Company marketing controller, is overseeing the launch.
