Butterkist hits TV screens with 2017 advertisement

Popcorn brand Butterkist has appeared on TV screens across the UK as part of its new £3 million investment to encourage people to experience new flavours within its range.
The selection of adverts will feature the Butterkist Salted Caramel flavour alongside key flavours including Toffee, Cinema Sweet and Sweet & Salted. The advert will run until 9 April on channels such as ITV, ITV2 and Channel 4, as well as platforms such as Sky Media, ITV digital and C4 partners and owned channels.
The advert features a typical living room with family members sharing the same space but not interacting with each other. The mum wants to create some ‘us time’ and believes opening a bag of Butterkist will change the room from a group of individuals disengaged to a room with everyone reconnecting and coming together.
The five-week long advertisement will also feature on the sides of 200 London taxi cabs.
