Fourth London chocolaterie

paul.a.young has announced the opening of his fourth London chocolaterie at Heal’s flagship store on Tottenham Court Road.

Heal’s is renowned for its British designers, high-end furniture, luxury gifting and homewares making paul.a.young the perfect addition with a stand-alone store at the entrance to Heal’s.

For the first time paul .a. young customers are able to sit down and enjoy Paul’s creations in store. Customers can choose hot chocolate made from a range of origin chocolate sourced from craft chocolate makers around the world. These include British producer Duffy 85% Ecuadorian and Pacari 70% Raw from Ecuador. Tea is supplied by the exquisite Henrietta Lovell’s Rare Tea Company, including her renowned RAF blend, Wild Rooibos and a new chocolate chai tea blend.

Paul and his team will be baking some of his favourite and famous recipes on site in the open kitchen. These include cocoa nib drenched cookies and his rich ganache-covered chocolate cake, Mayan spiced chocolate cakes and chocolate cantuccini – perfect dunked in a hot chocolate.

Paul will be onsite creating daily exclusives in his unique and creative style, including recipes from his award-winning book, Adventures with Chocolate. The aromas of melting chocolate and freshly baked brownies are guaranteed to entice passers-by into Paul’s new shop.

paul.a.young and Heal’s have been working closely to create a unique interior, reflecting Heal’s new direction in supporting British designers and manufacturers. The shop features selected key pieces from Heal’s to compliment Paul’s signature purple colour scheme including exquisite medicine bottle chandeliers created by Sabrina Gross of DeGross Design and Innovation. Stunning presentation and glassware is supplied by LSA International and tableware by Wedgwood, with a new collection each season and Paul’s favourite kitchen appliances are supplied by world famous KitchenAid.

Paul says: “Opening our fourth chocolaterie could not be more exciting and collaborating with the ultimate design store Heal’s to offer their customers a new experience in gifting, eating and relaxing with fine chocolate simply adds to the excitement. There is a striking synergy between ourselves and Heal’s with our interior design encompassing the best of British design and style.”

Heal’s says: “We are delighted to work with paul.a.young and open his fourth chocolate salon in our flagship store. We have always been huge fans of Paul’s and we are really excited to not only sell his delicious chocolates in our stores, but open the whole paul.a.young experience to our customers, especially in the lead up to Christmas.”
