Walkers and Shaun The Sheep

Walkers Shortbread, bakers of The World’s Finest Shortbread, has partnered with Aardman’s Shaun In The City, a public art trail that is being hosted across London and Bristol in the UK this summer. With 120 sculptured models of the internationally renowned character Shaun The Sheep placed across these vibrant cities; artists, designers, celebrities and Walkers Shortbread have created their own unique ‘Shaun’.

Positioning the brand as a family favourite and injecting heritage into the trail, Walkers Shortbread has commissioned its very own figurine designed by Ros Franklin to take part. Playing homage to the brand’s Scottish roots and heritage, Hamish the sheep comes complete in traditional Highland dress.

Launching in London and running until 25 May then from 6 July in Bristol, the figurines will be placed in some of the most iconic locations for the public to hunt down, with all proceeds going to Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Charity and The Grand Appeal, supporting children in hospitals across the UK.

Jim Walker comments: “Walkers Shortbread is delighted to be partnering with the Shaun In The City trail and support the wonderful causes it donates to. As an independent family business, we feel that this activity is a natural fit for the brand and we are very much looking forward to seeing consumer interaction with Hamish the sheep.”
