Natra joins bitesize market

Natra, which manufactures chocolate and products derived from cocoa, has launched a bitesize version of its chocolate bars.
The bite size trend is a format with an ever-increasing presence in the food market. According to data published by Mintel, the number of products launched on the market in this format has increased 26% worldwide, compared to last year.
Natra, which makes over two million units daily, has been producing the new variety of on the go product in two different packaging formats since July: Doy pack (125g) and PP Tube (240g). The ‘Bites’ are the miniature versions of the biscuit, peanut, caramel, coconut and nougat bars.
Natra says the new variety of product is manufactured in the same manner as the bars at its production plant in Oñati in the province of Gipuzkoa.
