Nestlé launches Aero Orange Bubbles sharing bags

Nestlé Confectionery’s new Aero Orange Bubbles sharing bags will be available from 9 January 2012.

The sharing bag sees Aero’s bubbly milk chocolate given a zingy orange twist and a new pack design.

Mixing Aero chocolate with an orange flavour has already proved popular with shoppers. Launched in January, the Aero Orange block has grown to be worth £4 million. The total Aero brand is also seeing significant growth, up 12% to £93 million.

Nestlé UK trade communications manager, Graham Walker, says, “With the launch of new AERO Orange Bubbles, Nestlé Confectionery is offering yet another new flavour combination to shoppers.”

The sharing bag category, now worth £346 million in the convenience channel alone, continues to drive the total confectionery market. Chocolate sharing bags account for 40% of all sharing bag sales, worth £134 million.
