Cappuccino popcorn on sale

Budgens, the independent UK grocery brand, has confirmed it will be the first to stock the new cappuccino flavour popcorn from Portlebay. Stores will stock the new line from July – three months ahead of the multiples, including Tesco.

Hand-popped and manufactured at The Portlebay Poppery in Devon, the new variety is the first Cappuccino flavoured popcorn in the UK.

Mike Baker, Budgens director says: “We’re really pleased to have the opportunity to be the first to market with this new product. We’re firm believers in the Portlebay brand and think the new Cappuccino flavour will be a fantastic addition to their gourmet range. Of course it’s also great to be ahead of the multiples with this launch.”

Budgens is the first retail store to stock the new flavour, with a deliciously smooth taste and creamy frothy coffee characteristics. The Cappuccino popcorn is available in 75g sharing bags for £1.70 (RRP) and is only 115 calories per 25g serving.
