Launch of limited edition Snickers bar
25 January 2011 – Mars is building on its Mr T. campaign with the launch of limited edition Snickers Maximus. A variant of the Snickers bar, Snickers Maximus comes without the nougat and includes more nuts and caramel.
News of the launch follows a strong sales year for the Snickers brand now worth £75.1 million.
Snickers Maximus is the next phase in Mr T’s campaign and the launch will be supported by a TV and radio campaign, part of a total £5 million media spend on the brand throughout 2011. A range of tailored POS will be available for retailers to promote the launch in-store. Snickers Maximus is available now and has an RRP of 49p.
