The launch of Guzzle Puzzle

The Natural Confectionery Company (TNCC) is launching a new sweet product that combines two different shaped fruit and spice flavoured jelly sweets, like a puzzle, to create a different flavour experience.

The five individual flavoured sweets can be combined to create one of three different flavours. Cinnamon and lime becomes cola, orange and banana becomes bubblegum while raspberry and lime becomes pink lemonade.

Louisa Bertano, marketing manager for candy, says, “Consumer feedback on Guzzle Puzzle is already strong. Our aim with this new offering is to appeal to a broad audience. The brand currently has a strong resonance with young consumers, however, young families and young adults represent 12.6 million potential individuals who buy sugar products but possibly haven’t yet tried TNCC.”

To support the launch of Guzzle Puzzle, TNCC has invested £2.5 million in a media campaign that includes TV and cinema advertising as well as PR and digital campaigns. There is also POS available for retailers in the form of various pre-filled HOD solutions and counter units to help drive awareness in-store.
